She then pursued her MD in General Medicine from Madurai Medical College in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, in 2012. Driven by her passion for hematology, she further specialized in the field by completing a D.M in Clinical Haematology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi in 2016.
